Biography

(version française)

Age: 35
Hometown: Notre-Dame-de-La-Guadeloupe in Beauce, Quebec
Occupation: Graphic designer
Competitive cyclist since: 2004

I’ve always been passionate about sport. The completion of my studies, in 2000, left me more time to explore different sports: snowshoeing, hiking, rollerblading and cross-country skiing.

My cross country ski coach suggested I try cycling – he sold me my first racing bike. I then joined a few amateur clubs. My potential was recognized and I was encouraged to participate in the Saint-Georges de Beauce Cyclosportive in 2003. I finished 3rd. That day I realized I had found MY sport: road racing.

Since 2004, I have collected:
• 27 podiums in Quebec;
• 6 podiums in France;
• 3 Quebec Championships time trial titles (2008, 2009 and 2011);
• 1 Quebec Road Champion title in 2008.

During these 9 years, I have participated in:
• 1 World Championship in 2012, 67e;
• 22 UCI events;
• 4 World Cups;
• 34 international stage races;
• 5 projects with the Canadian National team.

With the strength and experience obtained from 9 years of competitive cycling, I have set as my main objective:
• a Canadian Time Trial Champion title.
